Homeopathy for Menopause (Majer-Julian)
Homeopathy for Menopause (Majer-Julian)
The first work to thoroughly analyse the homeopathic treatment of menopausal complaints in such impressive depth.
The French gynaecologist Dr. Evelyne Majer-Julian, daughter of the well-known homeopath Othon-André Julian, has been practicing for over 40 years, during which time she has amassed a wealth of experience in the homeopathic
treatment of the typical problems of menopause.
These include hot flashes, outbreaks of sweating, weight increase, sexual difficulties, venous diseases, and vaginal dryness, as well as longterm effects such as osteoporosis, arteriosclerosis, and typical cancers. The author
also critically examines hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and discusses potential alternatives.
The therapeutic recommendations are highly detailed and extend well beyond the usual polychrests. The experienced gynaecologist often recommends treatment with specific homeopathic hormones or other “minor” remedies. She suggests, for example, Badiaga, Angelica sinensis, and homeopathic Cortisone for weight
problems, or Radium bromatum, Stillingia, and Parathormone for osteoporosis. She includes clear dosage recommendations.
The author also gives valuable advice based on gemmotherapy and phytotherapy. This is a comprehensive work that offers excellent guidance to both therapists and patients.

Is Homeopathic Treatment Possible?
"This book gives a wonderful overview on this subject - both for laypeople and therapists. It is well structured, the medical information is clearly presented, also for non-specialists - and easily applicable in daily practice."
Elisabeth Ratzer, Journalist
"The topics in this book are described in a straightforward and easy-to-understand way. The characteristics of the popular remedies are well explained and related to the main themes of the book. Relatively unknown remedies are also well described so that the reader can form a clear picture of how to use them.
The current trend of also prescribing hormones or allopathic preparations in potentised form is reflected in this book.
The book is rounded off with phytotherapy (herbal) and aromatherapy tips as well as with recommendations for nutritional supplements.
All in all, it is well worth getting a copy of this new book."
Heidi Czech, Homeopath
