This been exemplified by the removal of homeopathic hospitals and other educational institutions from Western countries in the last few decades.
In the past 20 years there has been recent proliferation of 'news' like: "Homeopathy has increasingly been questioned or denounced by organizations in several countries, most recently in FDA hearings in the US."
With all this "homeopathy bad news" from sceptics & government agencies like Australia's NHMRC, the reaction of many homeopaths' reaction is to hunker down and keep a low profile. If every homeopath did this, then homeopathy probably would eventually disappear.
